Welcome to IDC Berlin – a dance event like no other. Our competition brings together young dancers from all over Europe, offering them the chance to perform on a professional stage, in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Whether you’re dancing just for fun or training to become a professional dancer, IDC provides a chance to shine on stage. Masterclasses and workshops with teachers from Staatsballett Berlin, Friedrichstadt Palast, Komische Oper Berlin, Bayerisches Staatsballett, TheCompany Berlin, Paris Opera Ballet School and more!

At IDC, we believe every dancer deserves a moment in the spotlight. Our mission is to provide a professional stage experience for dance students and enthusiasts, and give everyone the opportunity to perform for their friends and family. We also welcome more pre-professional dancers who are looking to improve their technique and gain experience in front of an audience.
WHAT'S INVOLVED
IDC hosts two main events every year:
Founded by Tyler Gurfein, a professional ballet dancer at Staatsballett Berlin, IDC focuses on providing a stress-free and enjoyable environment for all participants. Tyler's vision is to inspire young dancers, build their confidence, and let them experience the joy of performing.
